Field Day is a popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather to operate from primarily outdoor locations.
POTA is an international amateur radio program that promotes communications from national, federal, state, and provincial parks. NOARS organizes a group that operates portable equipment in a variety of parks and public lands.
Played in a large park, this on foot experience is open to anyone with an HT. Find each other using handheld radios. Simple, inexpensive HTs work fine! Be prepared for lots of walking. Loads of fun!

NOARS monthly Weekend Lunches are held generally the second Saturday of each month, at various Cleveland area restaurants, at 12:30. All are welcome!
NOARS monthly Tuesday Lunches are held the first Tuesday of each month at noon at Golden Corral, 1519 West River Rd., Elyria, OH. Membership in NOARS is not needed to attend. All are welcome to attend!
The Annual Picnic is held in August. NOARS provides burgers, brats, and the fixings. The rest is potluck, brought by those attending.
The annual Holiday Banquet is held in December. Attendees pay for a delicious buffet meal and enjoy each other’s company in this festive season.
